A PhD scholarship ($28,597/year, full time for 3.5 years) is available for a project with the Centre of Excellence for Plant Success in Nature and Agriculture at UTAS, focussing on the evolution of osmoregulation in plants, co-supervised with Tim Brodribb and Steve Smith.
This position is open to domestic (Australia/NZ) or international applicants who are already in Australia. Applicants should hold or be expecting first-class Honours in Plant Physiology, Molecular Biology and/or Genetics or hold equivalent qualifications in one or more of these fields.
