This symposium brings together scientists working on various aspects of seed, bud and other meristematic dormancy. It will focus on recent advances on the regulatory mechanisms, its role in plant growth and development, weed management and crop production, as well as impact of seasonal environmental change and climate change on dormancy.
The overall goal of this symposium is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on dormancy in plants and the development of new scientific collaborations. It will encompass the latest findings in dormancy from a variety of plant systems ranging from model plants to wild, agronomic and tree crops.
