The inaugural Herbicide Discovery & Development meeting (HDD2020) will be held on 15-17 January 2020 during summer in the beautiful city of Perth, Australia. The meeting is headlined by Stephen Duke (U. Mississippi) with keynotes by Laura Barter (Imperial College), Belinda Abbott (La Trobe), Luke Guddatt (UQ), David Ascher (U. Melbourne) and has a industry session with Ruth Campe (BASF), Amit Vasavada (Marrone Biotech) and Sabine Kahlau (Targenomix). It will also have international and national invited lectures as well as a dedicated ECR and student session. The meeting is under the auspices of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) and will focus on organic chemistry, chemical biology and structural biology approaches directed at the discovery or development of herbicides.
